Purpose Profit – Building Businesses With Passion https://purposeprofits.com Wed, 29 Sep 2021 14:05:22 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=7.1.3 What’s Your Passion? https://purposeprofits.com/whats-your-passion/ https://purposeprofits.com/whats-your-passion/#respond Tue, 28 Sep 2021 15:39:34 +0000 https://purposeprofits.com/?p=30 Okay, you’ve decided you want to make money with Affiliate Marketing. So, you join some affiliate programs and start submitting free ads to newsletters and free advertising classifieds sites. You’re going to make BIG money now — right?

Nope! Sorry! Just sending out a few ads is not going to do it. Not if you want to be a real success.

First, determine your passion. I mean, other than making money! What is your hobby? What are you good at? What is your job? Everyone has a special talent. Find yours.

You probably have more than one thing that you are very interested in and do well. See if you can find five (ten if you’re ambitious). Write them down in a list. Remember, you are going to be spending a lot of time working on this subject. Make sure you enjoy it!

Go down each item on your list. Start writing a rough outline of everything you know about the topic. It doesn’t have to be elaborate. This is just to give you an idea of how much information is available for a given subject.
Try mind mapping. Write down the main subject of your idea. Draw a circle around it. Now, start thinking of sub-categories that are related to your main category. Draw a line from your main category and end it with a circle. Put the sub-category title inside this circle. Find as many sub-categories (and sub-sub-categories) as you can.

Go through each of your interests with this procedure. Choose the one that you know the most about and that you can write about comfortably.
What if you “think” you don’t know enough about your topic? Then, do some research. Read books and magazines. Do some searches on the Internet. Who knows? You might find an area, a niche, that is just waiting for you to fill it with useful information.

There’s a lot more to affiliate marketing, of course. But the first step is to find your passion. Your “passion” doesn’t have to be making money on the Internet, it can be cooking, sewing, billiards, or whatever. Find a niche that isn’t in the online marketing arena because that’s what nearly everyone else is doing.

Make your topic unique. Make it yours. And make it your passion. It will pay you well.

How To Uncover Your Passion For Ultimate Success – Part 1! https://purposeprofits.com/how-to-uncover-your-passion-for-ultimate-success-part-1/ https://purposeprofits.com/how-to-uncover-your-passion-for-ultimate-success-part-1/#respond Tue, 28 Sep 2021 15:39:07 +0000 https://purposeprofits.com/?p=28 Once you have prepared your body and mind for success, it’s time for the next step and to choose the right target. The clearer you are on what you’re shooting for, the better your chances of hitting the mark.

I would lock myself in my room and take the phone off the hook… or even better, find a place away from your normal environment, a quiet peaceful place, preferably around nature – in the woods or a nice park, etc.

Once I’m there, I would take a few moments to relax and soak it all in. Get your mind to a calm, comfortable, relaxed state. Then, I would start by making a list of all the things I enjoy doing, my interests and hobbies, and my passions. Since we’re starting from scratch, we might as well pick a subject/business that we would enjoy doing, right?

I would spend at least a good few hours on really getting this information out of myself. Think of what your ideal jobs or careers are. What have you enjoyed doing in the past? What did you enjoy a lot as a kid? What are the things that make you come alive? Add everything to the list. Don’t worry about how you’re going to make money doing those things yet. Just put together as thorough a list as you can.

See… you want to do what you enjoy, what you love.

Pick the kind of lifestyle you want first – then build the business around that!

Only after listing everything should you think of turning those hobbies/interests/passions into a business. Pick the top 5 choices out of your list and think of how you can help others by doing them. For example, if you enjoy cooking and that was one of your top 5 choices, you can now start thinking of ways to turn that into a business.

You could, for example, share your recipes with others, teach them to cook like you, or you could even cook for them. I love selling information. So, I would probably decide to sell an informational product, say a book of recipes, a ‘learn-to-cook’ type of manual, or something along those lines.

I believe that when you do something you enjoy doing and you find a way to help others while doing it, making money is just a natural result.

Find An Offline Passion To Help Your Online Business Prosper https://purposeprofits.com/find-an-offline-passion-to-help-your-online-business-prosper/ https://purposeprofits.com/find-an-offline-passion-to-help-your-online-business-prosper/#respond Tue, 28 Sep 2021 15:33:51 +0000 https://purposeprofits.com/?p=25 Have you ever had the feeling that you are just in the middle of nowhere with your online business? That you are on your own out in the cyber desert? Do you feel separated from the outside world? Should I use the term alienated from the outside world? Did these weird feelings put their negative marks on the daily performance of your online marketing efforts?
If the answer to these questions is YES, then I have good news for you:
YOU’RE NOT ALONE!

I don’t have physical proof(!) but I am almost sure that hundreds of thousands of honest hard working online marketers feel the same way every day.

After working 3 days straight in your home office, you pop down to the local mall, and it feels like that you’re on Mars. What are these people doing here? They are talking to each other. They are serving flesh and blood customers, and others are cleaning brick and mortar premises?
Are they nuts? Or am I nuts? NONE of the ABOVE.

ALL online marketers can get into this weird state of mind and lose perception of the outside physical world one way or another.
I know I can.

But here’s the quick fix for the problem:
Find a traditional offline activity, stick to it and practice it at least once a week. What kind of activity should I look for, you may ask? Any kind…fencing, play the guitar, dancing, songwriting cooking, gardening, playing the drums, embroidery, swimming. Whatever…OFFLINE!

Your options are endless, but you need to pick one. You will re-discover a different world. The REAL ONE.

You will come back to life and terms with your profession, which is online marketing: spending 8-14 hours in the cyber world. You need to talk to real people too. Talk to your neighbors, friends, family. Go to clubs, pubs.
Go out to the local park, and just run… Breathe in some fresh air.

I have just recently discovered my all-time passion, which is songwriting.
I can’t dedicate too much time to my passion, but I set aside a certain hour of any day of the week and spend time with my music teacher to write songs, play the guitar, and learn how to sing as well. It is meditation. It is therapy. It’s a cure. It simply feels great. It helps me immensely to push my online marketing business forward and to be more helpful to my family, my business partners, and friends, and to be more creative in every aspect of my life!

Find your offline passion to prosper in your online business!

Blogging – The Fashion Of Passion https://purposeprofits.com/blogging-the-fashion-of-passion/ https://purposeprofits.com/blogging-the-fashion-of-passion/#respond Tue, 28 Sep 2021 15:10:47 +0000 https://purposeprofits.com/blogging-the-fashion-of-passion/ There is a passion built into the entrepreneurial spirit. It is that sense of pride in a product and passion in a business that you tap into when you form an idea for a home-based or e-commerce business.

That passion is the driving force behind virtually every aspect of your online business. This passion can (and should) be evident in web design, product descriptions, and knowledge-based content.

In the same way, you can express your passion for your ‘idea’ through the use of a business blog. You can provide up-to-the-minute updates on products, information, or industry trends.

You can infuse your blog with reputable links and glean material from sources that only serve to convince your site visitors that you know what you are talking about. You have multiple sources to help provide information – handpicked for freshness and good taste.

Some business bloggers will work to stifle their enthusiasm for the very thing that fuels their business passion. They tend to believe that strict professionalism is the key to their online success. I believe this approach is a mistake. If you’re enthusiastic about your business, products, and blog, you will find customers will often gravitate toward your passion. Yes, be professional, but be passionate, too.

I think the reason this is needed has a lot to do with a pervading apathy many people experience. It seems as if ideas are made to poke fun at, and passionate people are consistently referred to as fanatics. While this can be true, it can also be a point where your genuine enthusiasm provides hope that a person can move from apathy to excitement in the 21st century.

The web thrives on a sense of anonymity, and it is that environment that may be most conducive to being able to express yourself positively in your business blog.

The wonder and excitement of life seem to fade at a younger and younger age, but if we are honest, we want something to cheer for. We also want something to be excited about, and in the privacy of our own homes, we may even marvel and the joy we see in the passions expressed by an e-commerce business owner.

I encourage you to confidently take your business blog and infuse some passion into it. Make it personal, make it fun and give your readers something to believe in.

Home Business, Passion Or Science? https://purposeprofits.com/home-business-passion-or-science/ https://purposeprofits.com/home-business-passion-or-science/#respond Tue, 28 Sep 2021 15:10:23 +0000 https://purposeprofits.com/home-business-passion-or-science/ Those who succeed in home entrepreneurship do so because they do it with passion. If one doesn’t put passion into a home business, then failure will probably be the outcome.

Due to low investment, it is much easier to give up or move on to another without giving the home business a chance to grow. When one does things with passion, one tends to stay focused a lot longer when things seem to go wrong. Passion keeps one going.

Who doesn’t remember being in love for the first time? It’s that type of passion that one needs put into any project. Doing whatever it takes to stay close, stay tuned, stay faithful. You felt like that with a partner, and it certainly will be so with anything in life!

With most of the actual home businesses where almost everything runs on autopilot, it is easy to “just let it run.” However, one’s input is vital, because you can never replace the human mind and heart. A machine doesn’t have a heart, and therefore, no passion. It does what one tells it to and very efficiently, but it lacks that twinkle in the eye, that broad smile, the excitement in the voice, all of these are human prerogatives.

More importantly, the passion with which one performs any task and keeping that passion alive will mean the difference between success and failure. The BIG question is what keeps that passion-fueled, and the answer is always different from person to person, but easy to recall by answering one of the following questions:
– “What made me start this project?”
– “What drove me to that first click?”
– “What did I have in mind just before filling that form?”

There is nothing wrong with starting a business for the money. Everybody is in business for the money. However, when one thinks of money, what is one thinking? A stack of notes? A credit card? A bank account? Not very passionate, is it? Or maybe passionate for someone? And if that’s the case, fine! But in most instances, it’s what one wants to do with the money that fuels that passion. Put children through college. Treat an ill relative. Buy a bigger house. Buy a better car. Lead a more comfortable life. The list is endless, and one should keep that fuel at hand every single day. One who keeps the passion fueled will have success guaranteed.

Besides being a wonderful drive for the home business entrepreneur, passion keeps one healthy, happy and motivated. Subsequently, it makes one stand out and attracts friends. Everyone wants to be around a happy and successful person.

Keeping the passion alive is the easiest path to success. But don’t forget the fun. Build your business with faith and passion.

Be passionate and succeed.
